| New Product Announcement at Valve World 2012 | ||

Parent company ERIKS have acquired specialist Spanish valve manufacturer Valve Entreprise which will now be known as ERIKS Valve Entreprise.
The VE Double Block & Bleed, Dual Expanding Plug valve was announced at Valve World 2012 in Dusseldorf last month with both a working valve and a perspex demo unit on display. The valve is typically used in oil, fuel and chemical storage facilities, refuelling installations, pipeline receiver manifolds and leak detection systems. Econosto UK will now be the official UK distributor for the VE valve.

| The Smiths are coming to the warehouse | ||

Following the ERIKS group's acquisition of the Newdell Company which owns the Smith Valve brand, Econosto UK are to be the authorised agents for the brand and stock a range of Smith gate, globe and check valves.
Delivery of the first stock order is expected early in the new year.
The Smith brand, which is manufactured in the USA, is well-known and respected across the industrialised world but in recent years has been less widely available in the UK. The alliance between Econosto and Smith will now ensure customers can once again access a wide range of these quality products on short lead times.
