The start of 2013 has seen two new staff join Econosto UK in the sales department.

 

 

 

Joe McLaughlin has joined Econosto UK, filling the vacant role of North West Area Sales Manager.

Joe has previously worked at Pegler & Louden and BSS in a variety of roles and has many years of experience in the industry.

Another key appointment in the expansion of our Projects team is recent new starter Anthony Lock. 

Tony brings a wealth of engineering and valve experience to Econosto UK and has gained valuable design and manufacturing knowledge with Schuck in the UK.  Projects Manager John Burbidge commented, "Tony is a welcome addition to our team who brings a broader range of skills and experience enabling us to understand more of the markets our customers operate in and ensure our service meets their needs".

At the end of December ERIKS acquired Quantum Supply ltd (Canada) through its wholly owned operating company Newdell.

Quantum Supply Ltd markets valve and processing equipment to industry in Western Canada and acts as both manufacturer’s representative and distributor. Quantum also specialise in the engineering and fabrication of steam pipeline valve stations. Markets include oil & gas production, heavy oil production and upgrading, gas transmission and distribution, mining, power generation, chemical and petrochemical.

Quantum Supply is headquartered in Vancouver and operates branches in Calgary and Edmonton. The company generates annual sales of 10M Canadian Dollars. Quantum will continue to operate as an independent unit within the Newdell Company. For more information please visit www.quantumltd.com

ERIKS group have announced the acquisition of US company Lewis-Goetz.  The company is one of the largest industrial distributors in North America.

Specialising in fabricated hose, conveyor belts and a wide range of gaskets, it serves customers in a wide range of industries from 86 locations throughout USA and Canada. Lewis-Goetz generates with 1200 employees an annual sales level of approx. 400 M USD.

Lewis-Goetz provides ERIKS with a platform for growth in fabricated hose, gaskets and conveyer belts in North America and will significantly strengthen ERIKS’ market position in the United States.

Matt Anderson has joined our Leicester office as Technical Sales Engineer. Matt was most recently in Actuator and Control sales for Paladon Systems but started his working life as an apprentice engineer at British Timken and moved on to design and development including a spell with Cosworth Racing's F1 department, where one of the highlights of his role was flying to the Indianapolis GP to help look after Mark Webber's racing engine.
