Econosto UK Ltd (formerly Ball Valves UK) are a leading supplier of valves and related products to a wide range of industries.  Part of the Royal Econosto Group the company supplies own brand Econ valves as well as a ranges from premier manufacturers such as Vinco valves, SRI, JC and Douglas Chero valves.

Acquisition of Royal Econosto nv

ERIKS Group nv successfully completed their acquisition of the Econosto Group and a joint announcement on 5 June 2008 notified the intention to delist the shares from the Amsterdam stock exchange on 7 July. 

Appointment to Executive Board

Mr J F A M van Os has been appointed to the executive board of ERIKS group nv as of 1 August 2008 as a result of the acquisition of Econosto by ERIKS.  Mr van Os joined Econosto in 1977 and was appointed Chairman in May 2003. He will remain in this position in addition to his new role on the ERIKS board.
